Intake Coordinator

We are hiring a in office Intake Coordinator. If you are dedicated and ambitious, Mobile Medical Group is an ideal place to get ahead. This is a full-time position available at our Murray, Utah Location. Our Intake Coordinators primary duty is to admit patients into our care/program in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all new patient admissions

  • Collects all patient information including name, DOB, insurance, facility information, patient’s emergency needs, family concerns, medication list.

  • Gathers all needed documentation consents, medical records, POA docs, etc

  • Build Patient Chart

  • Coordinates with patient & patient families, facility & provider to schedule admit appointments

  • Update facility census after admitted patient has been seen

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.

  • Basic computer skills to assist in routine clerical functions.

  • High school diploma or GED required; Medical field experience preferred by not required

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner

  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Firm grasp on administrative processes, and organizational policies

  • Knowledge of patient care preferred by not required

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
